We have ASUS Eee PC in our hands!
Let’s recapitulate: ASUS Eee PC is a the wonder mini notebook and now Eee PC is available to the market. It is powered by Linux SO but soon will be available a Eee PC version with Windows (low cost licence, arround 40USD or EURO). We receive 4GB version and we are happy to let you know our impressions about it. The big buzz was the price. First we read about a 200USD noteboo, but now the price for 4GB is on 429.99USD on Amazon. Still it is cheap. At first glance ASUS Eee PC looks like a expensive toy. Open it, push the start button and you will discover that Eee PC is not a toy! It is a powerful gadget: webcam, WiFi, USB and even a SD card reader. It is the right tool for a blogger on the go.
The target of Eee PC seems to be children (from box design, installed software, etc) but I told you: you need one near your desktop and notebook. It is easy to carry and use. It has right balance between mobility and power. No more hard time to write an email on your smartphone/PDA. No more hardtime to carry your bulky notebook (do you still think you have a slim notebook? You don’t see EeePC yet )
