Electronic announced today the first details on The Sims 3. Featuring a brand new engine that has been in development for nearly three years, The Sims 3 allows you to immerse your unique Sims in an open living neighborhood right outside their door.
The initial feature-set unveiled includes the new seamless, open neighborhood, new Create A Sim, new realistic personalities and new unlimited customization. The Sims 3 will launch globally in 2009.

Omg, the characters looks different…..like, more round. they all look funny, and have the same look. a round face and nearly no cheekbones. and the eyes are kinda funny. but other than that. it sounds awesome. and the eyes make them look like robots.
This will be grate game:D can’t wait for the release:D

it still costs $50 and its 4 years old ! lol.

well what I have heard so far is that the atcual release date is going to be febuary 20th 2009…and it is going to cost $69.99.
as far as the demo goes, Im not sure if they have even decied if they are bringing one out yet…Im ppretty sure that what is already on there website is all that they are getting

t the collector’s edition is $69.95 at EA store but you can get the regular one for $49.99 at Best Buy and $49.82 at Wal-mart that is the pre-order.

I don’t like the faces. They all look alike. Some should have shadows under the eyes and/or the cheekbones. All their eyes seem to be deeply set in fat. I’d like to see a few with chiseled features.
EA, please fix this so we can make them look like real people. You have time now that you’ve moved the release date forward four months.

I heard it’s released on June 2nd – 5th. I’ve also been told that for people in America it’s June 2nd and for British it’s June 5th but I’m not sure. I’m pretty bummed it’s been delayed.

There is not and never will be a demo for The Sims 3! This is a lie! Can be contaminated by viruses!
There’s a Sims 3 Demo avalible on the Sims 3 official site, go to the side and it says, SimFriend, SimSurfer, and SimSocial, click the link and when there, click play the SimSocial, it incorperates the basic CAS tools and interactive things, but not the main game tools.
I play Sims 3 Demo on the official website of Sims 3 and now I buy it from Amazon. I cannot wait to receive it!!! Looks so cool.
