I like rough and tough when it comes to my PC. You would too if you are always on the road and has to use your PC for almost anything. This ASUS is great if the tough-test you did really works but I do not plan to put my PC to such a trial considering how costly it can be. But why not try it with this Motion Computing F5 Tablet from http://www.pressdigital.com.au/. It claims to be tough as well as very useful when it comes to actual field work and it can do the job when it comes to using a bar code scanner, using WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G and a standard radio frequency reader. And that's no where near enough water to damage laptop. The keyboard is probably one piece w/o holes to goto the actual internal components of the laptop.
